Gain Muscle Quick
An anabolic state is one that is most beneficial if you want to gain muscle quick. The body builds up instead of breaking down while in the anabolic state, and is the opposite of the catabolic state, one that requires no energy to occur. The catabolic process breaks down larger food molecules into smaller units, or energy sources. The body then oxidizes the chemical strands and uses the energy to drive anabolism.
The body must consume a source of energy to stay in an anabolic state. Foods and supplements enable muscle tissue to receive this energy if the proper nutrients are present. Undernourished bodies will a higher rate of catabolism. Catabolism harms healthy muscle and body tissue when not addressed through proper nutrition. This is what occurs during starvation, the body depletes its essential fat deposits and muscle to maintain itself as long as possible.
Maintaining yourself in an anabolic state ensures your muscles are healthy and is the best state to be in to gain muscle quick. Anabolic inducing drugs or supplements promote absorption of food energy and protein into muscle tissue and are used surreptitiously by many athletes. Staying in an anabolic state can help individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. Anabolism helps develop and maintain healthy and strong bones as well as muscles. Some workouts tend to break down muscle tissue which releases hormones that further reduce energy storage.
Athletes who intend to lose or gain weight, add muscle or maintain their current musculature will benefit from having proper nutrition and eating at times that are the most beneficial for them. Doing this systematically provides the body with energy needed to gain muscle quick.
The business surrounding bodybuilding, fitness, workout regimens and other physical training earn a lot of money selling supplements, as you probably know. While the field of selling supplements has become very competitive due to the profit potential, the companies that remain can mark their products up for enormous profits. The FDA checks out reports of harm done by supplements but not the efficacy of the product. Unsubstantiated claims made without evidence of harm are not actionable and the product can continue to be advertised and sold.
Creatine is the only supplement with sufficient empirical data to support its effectiveness. Interestingly some of the more popular supplements are not food substitutes, instead they are chemicals designed to trigger responses in the body. Some bodybuilders eat some food then add meal replacement for the remainder of their diet. Most are supplements are high in protein, low in fat and carbohydrates and lack nutrients that are found contained in real food such as fiber, amino acids and antioxidants. These may help one gain muscle quick but are not sustainable.
Is it possible for athletes and bodybuilders to meet the nutritional needs to stay anabolic through a proper diet with no supplements? The answer is yes, it takes some focus on what you are consuming throughout the day but it is quite possible to do train at the highest level and gain muscle quick without supplements.
